This episode really resonated with me! I prefer to create art alone as it is my time to do whatever I want to do and listen to what I like. I use the time to catch up on art related podcasts like yours and get lost in my art room just creating. In saying that I always look forward to my monthly catch up with my art sisters too as being with them totally inspires me.
I loved how you mentioned communicating with your husband Steve as that is my technique too. I learnt it many years ago when I read the book “Why men don’t listen and women can’t read maps” by Barbara and Alan Pease – best book ever! It taught me so much about communication in relationships and is definitely a book everyone should read! Great subject Mum even though you were pushed in organising it!!! xo
