I’m delighted to bring you another episode of the Adventures in Arting Podcast! Our guest today is Eileen Hull.
Eileen grew up in a large family where there was always an art project in the works. Learning to think creatively has been a huge benefit throughout her life: from thirteen military moves and raising four children to developing product lines for craft manufacturers.
In 2009, Sizzix launched her signature line of ScoreBoards™ dies, which are specially designed to cut and score matboard and thicker materials. Her twelfth Sizzix collection, Stitchlits, will be released in October, 2015.
Eileen also has a line of sixteen innovative ink applicators called ColorBox™ Blends with Clearsnap.
She lives in Herndon, Virginia with her husband in their empty nest 🙂 The newest addition to the family is a vintage camper called Scotty, which Eileen outfitted as a mobile studio.
In September 2014, she drove cross-country, teaching and crafting for two months on the Paper Trail. To date, Eileen and Scotty have:
- logged 23,746 miles
- stopped in 30 states
- visited 32 stores
- taught 51 classes
- filmed 14 videos
- attended 2 rep shows
- displayed on the show floor of the Paper Arts+ Show in July 2015
