036: On the Paper Trail with Eileen Hull

I’m delighted to bring you another episode of the Adventures in Arting Podcast!  Our guest today is Eileen Hull.

Eileen grew up in a large family where there was always an art project in the works. Learning to think creatively has been a huge benefit throughout her life: from thirteen military moves and raising four children to developing product lines for craft manufacturers.

In 2009, Sizzix launched her signature line of ScoreBoards™ dies, which are specially designed to cut and score matboard and thicker materials. Her twelfth Sizzix collection, Stitchlits, will be released in October, 2015.

Eileen also has a line of sixteen innovative ink applicators called ColorBox™ Blends with Clearsnap.

She lives in Herndon, Virginia with her husband in their empty nest 🙂 The newest addition to the family is a vintage camper called Scotty, which Eileen outfitted as a mobile studio.

020: She’s Crafty

I’m delighted to bring you another episode of the Adventures in Arting Podcast!  Today we’re talking to Jennifer Priest.

It started with jewelry, beading, sewing, home decor, painting, basket weaving, pottery, and cross-stitch. Marry that to an entrepreneurial spirit & at 9-years-old a girl is selling her wares at craft fairs as far as her parents and grandparents would drive her.
