I have worked in art journals and on canvas, incorporating collage and found objects.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> <a class=\"asset-img-link\" href=\"https:\/\/balzerdesigns.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d8341c766153ef022ad3710b25200c-popup\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"asset asset-image at-xid-6a00d8341c766153ef022ad3710b25200c img-responsive\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" title=\"DefragmentedJC\" src=\"https:\/\/balzerdesigns.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d8341c766153ef022ad3710b25200c-500wi\" alt=\"DefragmentedJC\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<\/em><em>For me, creating art is a dialogue between my skills and the supplies I use. It is not so much a battle as an ongoing attempt to work out the connections between ideas and techniques.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> <a class=\"asset-img-link\" href=\"https:\/\/balzerdesigns.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d8341c766153ef022ad3b6d315200b-popup\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"asset asset-image at-xid-6a00d8341c766153ef022ad3b6d315200b img-responsive\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" title=\"LaBocaNatKalbach\" src=\"https:\/\/balzerdesigns.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d8341c766153ef022ad3b6d315200b-500wi\" alt=\"LaBocaNatKalbach\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nIn my mixed media canvases I emphasize urban subject matter, especially gentrification.
